Rebel Scum

This was a total throwaway shot, as the duck was fairly close.  The trail through the scum went totally unnoticed until I saw it after importing.

In other news, I dropped a filter into the harbour.  And I thought it was a polarising filter.  I'd been twisting it, wondering why it wasn't working.  So I mentally shrugged and decided to proceed regardless.  As I took my hand away from the lens, the filter fell off, plop, into the harbour.

Five minutes later I realised it couldn't have been the polarising filter, as I'd changed lenses and the CPL is on the other lens.  I'd been trying to use a UV filter as a polariser and in the process had unscrewed it.  That's a double 'D'oh!'
