HMY Britannia

Had such a brilliant Saturday! 

Pierre and I went to the Royal Yacht Britannia in the morning.  It was class :)  I was not expecting to enjoy it so much!  We've now done a few touristy things like the castle and Holyrood Palace but they all seem so grand!  The boat, however, is far more family-orientated.  There are lots of photos of the royals on the walls, personal items decorating the rooms, and a real sense of familiarity.  We had tea and cake on the tea deck and then spent a bit more cash in the gift shop!  Ah well, luckily the tickets were free thanks to my work! 

After the boat, we went for lunch to Field Grill House in Stockbridge.  £12.95 for two courses.  Really reasonable for what we got.  It was delicious!  Would recommend it.  Have added a couple of pics of our lunch in the extra photos bit on the right.  Look at that burger!!
