West Church

West Church, Inverurie.

On the High Street in Inverurie. I have very special memories of this place, as it was the church we got married in nearly 3 years ago. They renovated it around 5 years ago and converted a large open traditional church with a balcony into a two storey building. The upper level is still the church while the lower level is now open for the whole community to use. It has a café, fairtrade shop and small meeting rooms. All run by volunteers. It means the church is used all week by every age group. A fantastic idea I think
