July Challenge - L - Lonely on a Lake in Luton

Trying to be 'lliterative today as it is L.

This isn't the shot I had intended, but I couldn't get the one I wanted, so that will have to go in the Blipbank for another time.

The camera may never lie, but it certainly can be selective with the truth, as there were several other birds hanging around, I had to wait for them to get clear so I had the lonely bit.

Last weekend this end of the lake was over-run with bird life - they all migrated from the other end where many of the weekends festivities were taking place. Things were mostly back to normal for them today, although the heron seems to have taken up residence at this end at the moment.
