Ostia

Backblipped yesterday's blip.  Visit to Ostia today - an ancient Roman city port, about 20 miles from Rome on the coast -  which is extremely well preserved and, in my opinion, on a par with Pompei and Herculaneum - but less well known and far less crowded.  Spent a leisurely day wandering around this massive site.
