Stormy Day in Picton

We have been expecting rain. We got a shower or two in Blenheim. But 30kms away in Picton it was a different story. Rachel and I visited a photographer friend for lunch. He and his wife live high on the hills above the town. The view from their house is to die for. A south-easterly storm was raging with wind roaring through the trees and rain pelting down. This view shows the Interislander ferry, Kaitaki turning to back into her berth.
