Morning light, Lligwy Bay.

Early morning walk along the cliff path from Lligwy down to Moelfre, a far longer route than on the road but a far more interesting one to boot.

Looking back across Lligwy Bay in the morning sunshine the headland looked really lovely, more so, I think, because there have been so few days like this recently. The tide had turned about an hour earlier and was making its way out. In another 3 hours much of what can be seen here will be sand. This is more amazing than it may sound as, in only a matter of a few hundred yards, the coastline alters completely and becomes rocky and the seabed plummets away in a matter of a few feet.

I have walked this path many, many times. It changes yet remains the same and I am presented with new vistas every time I walk it's length.
