A carolina anole

We always called these critters chameleons because they change color like the bigger lizards that are called that.   This one is a male because he was flapping that red throat at me..a potential threat or a mating dance!

I am waiting to see a baby anole..they will be around later this summer..so tiny..no longer that my little finger.  They like to get on the rosemary plant and blend in.
