Ups and downs

Things that ought to be straight forward are being made difficult at the moment and there's not a lot we can do about it.
This was all put in perspective when we heard our friends' daughter has breast cancer.
We managed some respite with a meal out and seeing Dylan Moran in Leeds tonight. It was a bit of welcome respite but 4 tired people tonight.
