Got it!

I was quite surprised yesterday for the lack of evidence of Bastille day celebrations, especially considering how big the French community got around here. I discovered later that everything just got a shift of a day... probably easier to get a permit for a block party on a Sunday rather than a Saturday on a busy street like Smith st. Steamy hot out there, but people still got to enjoy their petanque tournament!
