Almost tropical!

This is The Frensham Pond Hotel in Surrey where I attended an interview in the mid 60's (I was a chef in my younger days). I declined the offer as I had, by then, accepted a position at a restaurant in nearby Farnham. It got me thinking about 'what if'. As a result of accepting the Farnham position I met my wife and embarked on a journey that took us all over the UK, Holland and France, a son, 2 beautiful granddaughters and now retired living back in the UK. We will never know about our 'what if's' in life and quite frankly I for one wouldn't change a thing about my life!
