Curiosity

There's a fine antique shop in Newark on Trent called Galerie. It's only open Thursday to Saturday which in itself is a sensible move in my book. I popped in today and the owner popped her head out from a back room to say she was full of cold but would happily share it if I needed her.

I wandered around the three small rooms and then into the courtyard garden out the back. Paintings, sketches, chairs, stools, lights, tables and many other items of great interest, large & small, intoxicated my senses. I was left alone and able to breathe in the heart of what I was looking at and let its spirit reach out to my own.

If life could reflect the easy beauty of this shop then I would be a happy bunny.
