Carpet of primroses

On the way back from Stamford I dropped into Bainton Churchyard which has the most splendid display of naturalised primroses, a real mix of shades that look perfect together. 

Then I headed into Peterborough with Alex to try and find a suit. He tried on a couple, but we didn't make a decision. He seems to be a somewhat difficult shape - too broad shouldered and well muscled, but with a small waist!

I was more successful in my hunt for a new toaster. Our old one blew up yesterday - it has had a lot of use over the years!!
