Roadrunner

I took my camera on the golf course today, even though it can be distracting when I'm trying to concentrate. It didn't matter because my game was bad anyway.
This roadrunner was especially cooperative because usually they just bolt away at full speed! I think he was hoping to be fed like the chipmunks on this course. When you leave the cart to putt they hop in and head straight for food. They can open lunch boxes in record time, and even though we know to be careful, we have had our sandwiches carried away several times. Luckily, today, we were able to chase them away without losing any food!
Grateful today for...entertaining chipmunks and squirrels when the golf game was less than stellar.
