Bend in the road

What lies beyond?
Dare I  proceed?

The light lies ahead.
But only now. Now because the sun is setting ahead.
Do I go towards the dusk or turn around & wait for the next dawn?

Attended the church' Circuit Meeting this evening. It was not too bad. Much less painful than we anticipated. All the reports were e-mailed, so most of the "speakers" only got up to answer questions.
