A Rare Visitor

It was only yesterday when commenting on my fellow blipper John's photo

that I was saying that we didn't get many bird species in our garden, despite having loads of feeders.  So we were amazed to come across this pheasant in our garden today.  Not a great photo as I had to take it from a distance through the conservatory window but I couldn't help notice how exotic and colourful he was.
Apparently they were introduced to Britain by the Romans.
