Dunlin(Calidris alpina)

From the bird book the Curlew Sandpiper and the Dunlin are so very similar, the give away being the curves of their beaks and the fact that the Dunlins beak bends downward at the tip, but as you cannot see the end of this birds beak you will have to trust me that this one does. I missed the Kingfisher today, although I did see her, but only fleetingly. I went out too late today and the light was not good at all, but no excuses, I just didn't take any really good photos today. Many thanks for your encouraging comments on my Bee-eater. The only redeeming thing about this bird portrait is that there is a nice reflection.
