Anthurium

This is my Christmas plant, still thriving on neglect:-)  I've tagged it for Flower Friday, but not sure if it is really a flower.  I think the yellow bit in the middle (which always looks rude) is the flower and the red bits are leaves or bracts, but I'm no expert.

A day of small failures for me - an empty-handed shopping trip, a disastrous Google Hangout for the Genealogy MOOC and a parcel that didn't arrive.  However, my husband is on a high as he caught a fish - the first in ages:-)  Swings and roundabouts.
