HT at dusk

This is our tiny church, Holy Trinity Dunoon, looking very tiny indeed against the backdrop of the Firth of Clyde, and very lonely as dusk falls over the Bishop's Glen. A former rector, later Bishop of the diocese, coined the idea that the church was like the footstool to the Bishop's Seat - the name of the hill above the glen - and named the church magazine of the day The Footstool. The graveyard surrounds the church, and the field between the church and the camera will in time be part of the grounds.

What a gloomy day this has been - this photo was taken after 6pm , but it was hardly any lighter in mid-afternoon!
