Masson Weir

early start to drive up to Derbyshire. Broke the journey at Masson Mills and weir near Matlock, spent a couple of interesting hours in the mill museum, (Richard Arkwright - industrial revolution, 1769, things we learned in school...). I spent ages at the weir, just enjoying the peace and the water rushing over. Still quite a bit of detritus hanging around from the winter storms.
 
So many photos today, this one of the weir wins, just because I enjoyed it so much.
