Wild Turkey

Because the weather has been so utterly pish, my summer rendezvous with D and A was a film day.

Chosen films had to be introduced and accompanied by snackage related to the film.

As we had a time limit (couldn't miss the cash game at poker) the agreement was a matinee with a U cert; intermission with a cartoon and; anything to follow.

The venue was at D and A's which had been transformed into the D.A.F.T. (the local Indy cinema or film theatre in Glasgow is the G.F.T.).

First up it was Coney Islands and NEHIs to accompany Paper Moon (it was really Pimms). At Intermission there were Piña Colada cupcakes to accompany Shaun the Sheep (the cupcakes were covered in coconut so looked a bit sheepish). For the main show it was Wild Turkey (technically Jack Daniels) and chicken in a basket to accompany Thelma and Louise.

It was a great way to spend a blustery July Sunday.
