Rusty...........

........Janie Seddon

She was built in England in 1903 and came to NZ as a naval artillery ship. After WWII she was sold to a local fishing family as coal-fired fishing trawler. This wasn’t a success story and eventually she was towed to the lagoon where she remains today, slowly rusting, but a popular landmark with locals and tourists.

When I return home I will add a link to an earlier photo I have uploaded of the Janie Seddon as I want to keep a record of her decay.

Thank you, Rainie for hosting the derelict Sunday challenge for March.

Thank you everyone for the visits, comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s delicate thread for the Flower Friday challenge.
