The Irony of It

The sign says 'Welcome to Christchurch', and the wall has earthquake damaged ground and other articles at its base. I was initially attracted by the painting on the wall, and even (carefully!) put my hand+phone through the wire netting to get the shot. And then I saw the ground below and couldn't help but think how apt it was for poor old Christchurch.
It's a neat mural though, isn't it!
If anyone wants to find it, it's in Welles St, between Manchester & Colombo, just along the road from the Supreme Café. Look for the wire netting!
