The Obi Obi River in my second home, Maleny

It still surprises me that this lovely river is right in the centre of town. Two minutes' walk from this spot is Maleny's main street. I'm always hoping to spot the platypus which live here though they are shy and elusive creatures. This morning there was a solitary bird fishing from a branch towards the right of this blip but hard to spot.
