If You Should Go in the Woods...

I heard a noise in the brush and saw movement of something coming towards me.  What a surprise to see a raccoon walking towards a large group of people (weather was gorgeous and lots of people out feeding scaring the chickadees). As soon as I saw its face, I knew why....poor old coon was blind.  I called him to me, took a photo and then shooed him away.  He looks like he has been eating just fine so I didn't want the people to start feeding him which could be disastrous to him.

Overheard one mother telling her son, "Oh, the eyes are like that because they are nocturnal."  I rolled mine...
