Elated and Deflated

A relatively chilled Saturday. Annie had an early trip to IKEA at Wembley as we've been chasing a couple of parts to finish our new TV unit. We've been watching the stock tracker for several weeks waiting for them to come in, they kept appearing in Belfast and Manchester but nothing local. Annie was determined to get them today and was prepared to try all the London stores but the tracker was accurate and Wembley was as far as she needed to go. That allowed me to finish the unit (it looks great), while Annie spent the afternoon on blip support answering people's questions.

The Triumph arrived back on Wednesday this week with new brakes, fuel pump, re-sealed fuel tank, refitted windscreen, an electronic distributor and a fresh MOT. We're hoping this will cure most of last year's running problems. I took it out for a run this morning and it ran better than ever. However there is always something and I arrived home with a puncture (and a flat spare tyre), well I suppose it could have done it 20 miles from home so thankfully I avoided that. Two new tyres ordered for delivery and fitting next week, so easy to do on the internet.
