Flying not so high...

A generally quiet Sunday,  identifying specimens from yesterday and entering all the data into the computer, as well as doing some planting in the garden. I felt in need of a bit of a rest as I've finally succumbed to the cold going round the family (though not too badly). 

Late in the afternoon we were surprised to see this balloon heading towards our house. It was very, very low, and the burner was being used quite generously, in a bid to get more height. I did wonder whether they were heading for the nearby school playing fields to land, but they eventually achieved a bit more altitude and floated safely away.
