one by one - are the tulip petals

and they have been as the week has progressed - making for interesting developments with the flower - how to photograph it - if i should play around with it or leave it alone - but there is always that side of me which says - i must fuss with it and fiddle - because to do so brings about unexpected results - which can be perceived as a positive thing - at least in my opinion - it's pink after all and you really can't go wrong with that - now can you? - plus it's another perception of the aging flower which always fascinates me - all aging processes are fascinating in general

so there it is and so it must be how it played out - lest we not forget how it also led to...
