Nestorations

I went back to Crane Hollow to visit the Great Blue Herons today.   I counted 23 in the various nests and in the trees.  They, like the Ospreys, are busy tidying up their nests and getting ready for eggs.  None of them seemed to be sitting down in the nests so I don't think they have eggs yet. This guy (or gal) just flew in with a small twig to add to the nest but his mate seems unimpressed.  I didn't have much time to watch them today so I plan to go back soon.
