Footprints in the sand..

Yes, all we left at Abel Tasman today were brief footprints in the sand as we changed boats at Medlands today. Sadly the weather gods were out in force and we were still not up to walking a section so it had to be a 'scenic' boat ride up the coast of the park. It didn't help that on the return, there was a film looping of gorgeous golden beaches, turquoise waters and verdant green forest because we couldn't see the shoreline in places coming back. Never mind, we did get to go. Today's blip is of Split Apple Rock which came to harm as part of a tussle between Maori gods.
