A Bevy of Swans!

I was on my way to the village of Wollaston in Northamptonshire when I came across this field with dozens (many out of shot) of Swans, they appeared to be resting. It was close to the River Nene and a Nature Reserve so not too far away from water. I can't remember seeing such a huge number before other than migratory ones to the wetlands of East Anglia.
