In leaf

This is one of my favourite parts of the walk to the Parliament each sitting day.  It is taken from Carlton Terrace Brae, looking up to Carlton Terrace and Regent Terrace and over to Arthur's Seat.  

Going past on this perfect sunny morning  I suddenly realised that if I am back in May after the election, as I hope to be, these trees will no longer be bare, but will be in green , early leaf.
