Frustrating week.
Busy at work.
Picked up a fetching bump on the head playing football on Monday.
Caught a cold.
Tuesday's tournament match had to be postponed when two players cried off sick. I did get to act as a ringer for the Maths department's team. Possibly the worst team I have ever played for. Or seen.
Chatted to mum about some medical tests she's had done.
Still got a cold. Had to referee a match today.
And trying to organise tomorrow's game is a headache with people selfishly going on holiday or on sick leave.

But.

But, only one day to get through before a 4 day weekend. And M is coming back over the weekend which will be nice.

He's excited about his latest project which is to build up a road bike from scratch. He's already got the frame ordered and keeps ringing up to discuss components.

And this record arrived last week - very good - and the new, second-hand speakers for the TT arrived today so I can play with that at the weekend.

And I can laze around in the bath with a book and some ginger beer like a book-reading, ginger-beer-drinking hippopotamus. That makes the cold feel better!
