A'Chralaig

The weather forecast suggested that the top of the cloud would be at around 1050 metres, so we decided to go up A'Chralaig. It is 1120 and we were hopeful. As it happened we came out of the cloud at about 990 and the views were spectacular again. The main blip is S going up the final slopes. There is a lot of snow on the eastern slopes, but I could easily have done it in shoes; poor decision to wear boots. The extras are Ben Nevis, Carn Mor Dearg and the Aonachs above the cloud sea and the ridge north of the summit with two fiends descending into the mist. On the way down the weather changed and the cloud lifted to just above the summits, so we had good views then as well.
