Transformation

A few weeks ago the flowers on this hydrangea were delicate shades of blue. It has now transformed into its subtle shades of autumn. The top of the South Island has been inundated with rain. The Nelson region over the hills from here was badly affected with flooding in some areas. Our son and daughter-in-law who live near Marahau collected over 300 mm of rain in their rain gauge. Here, by way of contrast, we collected 55 mm in our rain gauge.in our garden.
