Meeting her first Redwood

Paula and I did some collaborative writing in the morning and then spent the afternoon talking. In the early evening, over to Sue's house. Sue cooked us a wonderful dinner, and then we went for a walk and introduced Paula to a Redwood Tree. Talking into the night. Wonderful, rich talk, full of questions and ideas about photography, ethics, our children, aging, politics, terror, and the rise of dictators and tyrants. Paula talked to us about Patagonia: the landscape, the skies, the seeming infinitude.
