Good Morning Seoul!

Back-blip 6 of 6…..

A little fatigued after our night out in combination with the travel nightmare at the start of the week, the time-zone effect and an early get up this morning. But what a view from our hotel breakfast table to complete our visit.

The bus from our hotel left promptly at 07:40 and arrived at Seoul airport around an hour and 30 minutes later. Only to discover that one of my colleagues had forgotten to purchase a bus ticket when checking out from the hotel. After our horrendous travel at the start of week it was no surprise that between us we had insufficient local currency and not a credit card that would work at the cash machine to retrospectively buy a ticket with the staff guarding and being well entertained in the process! He finally decided to exchange some GB pounds and gratefully reclaimed his bag. What a to-do.

The flights back from Seoul to Helsinki and from there to Heathrow went remarkably well. All we needed now was our taxi. Who would've thought it. He was stuck in traffic eventually arriving an hour and a half late!!

So glad to get home tonight. Whoever said that travelling round the world on business was glamorous!!
