Shanghai

School work almost finished so today was a day in Shanghai.
Today it was a choice for the blip. Either the traditional gardens almost in the centre of the city or something of its more architectural heritage.
Although the former were (relatively) tranquil and pretty, the latter is much more what Shanghai is about today.
The view is from the 97th floor of the Wyatt hotel looking down the hole that is at the centre of this building. Quite scary just taking the photo. This particular building is now dwarfed by two others nearby....
An evening then in an American restaurant where it was good to eat a solid chuck of meat for the first time for a while. Reacclimatizing to a Western diet!
