Underneath the arches

Woke up still feeling a bit delicate after yesterdays food poisoning/allergic reaction/bad pint episode. But the whippet had to get a booster jag at 9am and we wanted fat satan to get his talons trimmed too. So we headed into Haddy, got the jags and the wriggly trimming done and then headed along the Tyne for a walk along the old route. I don't miss the old house but I do miss that walk sometimes so it was nice to do it again.

After that it was a coffee in the sunshine and then some garage tidying and organisation. With a review of the nibbling damage from the mice this winter. One expensive rucksack completely trashed as one of the kids had left a chocolate bar at the bottom of it that the mice had clearly been determined to get. I imagine the old pair of pants they also mostly finished off were seen as a bonus. I also had some very very old cigars in a humidor in a box that they had made a concerted effort to get to. We will be better prepared next winter!

Then it was a quick trip to the recycling centre with Joe to dispose of all the empty cardboard.

Ruby in town tonight so it's just a table for four here for a Chinese banquet later.
