The Obelisk

Hidden deep inside the Swiss Woods at Osborne House is this mysterious structure made entirely of flat pebbles. It has been here for very many years and the story goes that it was built secretly by a woodland worker over a long period of time with no one knowing of its existence.
As there are no stones lying around in this area we can only assume they were brought a few at a time from the beach about a quarter of a mile away.
Behind the pillar you may be able to make out the smoke from our bonfire.
