JK Sprints Leeds University

Decided not to compete in the sprints as we needed to focus on the event in Wass Forest tomorrow. We did however travel to Leeds University to pick up the equipment after the last start.

We were just in time for the climax of the premier mens class. Peter Hodgkinson GB was leading until Tim Robertson from New Zealand pipped him. Only for a fast finishing Kris Jones GB to win by just a few seconds. Great for the young man finishing at the same time that he rubbed shoulders with the champion on the run in.

In the background you can see a tall young lady in a grey jumper. This is Alice originally from our club who was third in the ladies elite class. Steve and Barrie from EBOR won M65 and M75 respectively.
