Flowers in the snow

This is one of the first flowers in the garden. It’s also something of an annual ritual for me to blip it, but this year I’m a bit early. (It was 15 April last year, but it was in full bloom then.)
It’s daphne mezereum (Tibast in Swedish) and often flowers before the snow has melted. There aren’t so many insects around at this time of year but there’s no competition from other flowers either!
It’s poisonous but not dangerously so, unless you try really hard!
