Christchurch Street Art

Had to go into town today for a short appointment so thought it would be a good opportunity to have a wander around....there's some amazing art on some of the many exposed walls that serve well to bring some colour and life into our broken city.

There was one particular on that we had noticed a couple of weeks ago but couldn't stop to capture at the time ...a huge beautiful blue ballerina...unfortunately it's no longer visible due to a new building going up in front of it....

This is my second favourite...I love how the artist has kept the colours of the bricks and incorporated them....
