Lochcarron

Today we went west to the Applecross Penninsular, over the famous Bealach na Bà (Pass of the Cattle), and visited the site of St Máelrubai's monastery. We had a wonderful lunch at the Applecross Inn , then visited Sheildaig and Torridon.

This evening we had a walk along the shore at Lochcarron, this is the evening light over the loch looking west.

It's D's first visit to the area and covering a lot of it!
