Easter Chicken

l went to collect our leg of Lamb for lunch tomorrow from the local farm and when l came out look who l saw investigating nesting sites!!  The perfect Easter Chick!!  The farmer was glad to spot her there and thought it would be likely that an egg would be found there the next day :)

A lovely day today.. another project with my daughter to make a book as a gift for her school friend who is getting married next weekend (the first of a long line of weddings l suspect!)  It will be used as a guest book at the wedding then turn into their visitors book afterwards.. we have reached the stage of casing in the book and so far it looks good.. do hope the next bit works!!
