Items in the kitchen

Stayed inside on this windy, rainy afternoon; and here's a photo of one of may favourite places in the house, the kitchen buffet.

Radio, flowers (a combo of 10p bargain from Waitrose and tulips from guests), a postcard of Vermeer's 'The Goldfinch', a still-life painting by my grandmother,  a spider-plant gift from my cousin and a US Food Administration WWI propaganda poster: 'Food - don't waste it'.
