Cliff Palace House

Today is the first full day of the Durango Photography Workshop and my instructing partner Tim Grey and I took the workshop attendees up to Mesa Verde National Park in southwestern Colorado. This is the first stop of the day, a private tour of Cliff Palace House - the largest and most iconic ancient cliff dwelling at Mesa Verde NP. There were only twenty of us so we had plenty of time to compose, change lenses, and explore all the different angles. A rare opportunity that we all appreciated.

I am transmitting this Blip at about 65 MPH on Colorado Hwy 160 from our Wifi equipped bus which is awesome. We decided to charter a full motor coach so that we didn't have to drive and could interact better with our fellow photographers. I highly recommend it if you can swing it....
