watching the boats go by

Today we were in the city of Victoria where we purchased backpacking supplies at the Mountain Equipment Coop. Eventually we drove to Ogden Point and the breakwater that we walked. At the Ogden Point lighthouse we sat on a bench from which we watched the boats. Many whale watching tour boats passed the breakwater on route to the San Juan islands where the orca whales live.
