Beach blip...

A drive out to Yellowcraigs in East Lothian to practice pitching our new tent was the plan. We didn't quite manage to pitch it, or get it back into its carry bag....the wind saw to that. But, it was fine.

The sun was shining, we saw the funny side to attempting to pitch a 5 man tent in high winds, and once we'd bundled it back into the car, we took a walk along the almost empty beach, then stopped to try out our new stove.

Thankfully the stove was a success and we had some fresh coffee and toasted marshmallows, then lay in the sun (no jacket OR cardigan needed), listening to the birds. Bliss.

After our Yellowcraigs expedition we headed over to North Berwick, where we found that the Lobster Shack was open for business, so it was half a lobster and chips to share for our late lunch. Delicious!

We rounded off our EL trip with coffee from Steampunk and then headed home.

A pretty good Good Friday by all accounts.
