Umbrellas

Our beach has been invaded by thousands of inland tourists attempting to escape colder weather and there are umbrellas everywhere. Semana Santa crowds are huge, covering a lot of Playa La Ropa sand with all sorts of beach paraphernalia. These umbrellas are adjacent to the volleyball court, which has miraculously escaped encroachment, and in the distance are more umbrellas and canopies at the public area (the only spot on La Ropa without a hotel or restaurant next to it) next to La Perla plus a couple of parachutes trying to land. The crowds should peak today and start diminishing over the coming week. By next weekend, all should be back to normal when we should once again be able to see sand rather than people on Playa La Ropa.
